About the Role

Les Petites Etoiles is seeking a French Teacher to teach French through play and activities to children in a bilingual Montessori environment. The role involves assisting with daily routines, supervising children, and supporting their personal care.

Responsibilities

• Teaching French through play and activities to the children.
• Assisting with all daily routines, supervising the children in their daily activities, helping to organise and prepare activities and materials.
• Supporting the children with their personal care routines.
• Supporting the Key Person with duties that must be carried out throughout the day.

Requirements

• An Ofsted-recognised qualification, Level 3 or above
• An Ofsted-recognised Montessori qualification
• At least one year of experience in childcare, preferably in a nursery setting.
• Unqualified candidates will be required to undertake an Early Years qualification recognised by OFSTED (Level 3) after successful probation period. The company will pay for this qualification.

• French as a first language - able to communicate with and understand children
• Professional spoken and written English

Work Type

• 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Experience Level

• At least one year experience in childcare

• Level 3 or above (Ofsted-recognised qualification)
• Montessori qualification (Ofsted-recognised)

Salary/Compensations

• £25,000 (non-qualified)
• £28,515 (Level 3 in Childcare)
