About the Role

Provide technical support for fire suppression products to internal and external customers across Australia and New Zealand via email, telephone, online support, and site visits for commissioning and fault finding. Offer technical engineering support, including drawings and layouts, for fire suppression products launched in the ANZ region. Collaborate with various support centres to obtain technical information for the fire suppression product range. Assist Business Development Managers with specifying products by providing technical information and sales support. Deliver high-level OEM fire suppression product training to a range of customers, including consultants, engineers, and field staff. Reporting to the APAC Technical Services Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for fire suppression products to internal and external customers across Australia and New Zealand via email, telephone, online support, and site visits for commissioning and fault finding.
  • Offer technical engineering support, including drawings and layouts, for fire suppression products launched in the ANZ region.
  • Collaborate with various support centres to obtain technical information for the fire suppression product range.
  • Assist Business Development Managers with specifying products by providing technical information and sales support.
  • Deliver high-level OEM fire suppression product training to a range of customers, including consultants, engineers, and field staff.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within Fire & Safety Industry is highly regarded, or within Industrial Building Products / Engineering / Mechanical industry is required.
  • Ability to interpret Datasheets, Australian standards, and other industry codes and documents.
  • Previous training experience, Certificate iv in training and assessment or similar is highly regarded.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with customers at all levels.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to prepare a wide variety of communication materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to learn new internal software packages.
  • Have a good mechanical aptitude with an ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Ability to handle pressure and execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
