About the Role

Play a critical role in shaping the financial direction of the Group by delivering high-quality planning, forecasting and strategic analysis that informs key business decisions. Influence decisions at the highest levels of CommBank, including the CEO, CFO, ELT and Board. Lead strategic planning, forecasting and performance insights for one of Australia's leading financial institutions. Drive automation, innovation and continuous improvement across Group Finance reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

Deliver insightful analysis on Group revenue drivers, cost management, capital efficiency and risk-adjusted returns.
Manage and continuously improve Group planning and forecasting processes.
Lead automation and reporting transformation initiatives across the team.
Provide scenario modelling and forecasting to support the Group's financial outlook.
Build trusted relationships across Finance and business stakeholders to influence outcomes.
Support the delivery of strategic reporting and analysis for the Board, CEO, CFO and Executive Leadership Team.

Requirements

CA or CPA qualification.
Strong analytical, commercial and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience in financial planning, forecasting, performance reporting or commercial finance.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
Advanced Excel skills and a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive risk mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
