About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Talent, Leadership & Capability to lead CPA's enterprise talent agenda and help shape the workforce required to deliver our strategic ambitions. This is a senior leadership role reporting to the Chief People Officer, responsible for leading our Talent Acquisition and Training & Development functions while driving a contemporary talent strategy across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver CPA's enterprise Talent Strategy aligned to Strategy 2030.
- Lead strategic workforce planning and identify future capability needs.
- Partner with Executive leaders to translate business priorities into workforce plans.
- Lead leadership development, succession planning and high potential talent programs.
- Drive learning, capability development and career pathways across the organisation.
- Provide strategic leadership of the Talent Acquisition function, including employer branding and workforce pipelines.
- Use workforce insights and market trends to inform talent decisions and improve organisational capability.
- Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition and Training & Development teams, fostering a high performing culture.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading enterprise Talent, Leadership and Capability functions within mid-sized / large, complex organisations.
- A strong background in the private sector, ideally within customer-centric or operationally intensive industries (e.g. healthcare, financial services, retail, logistics, aviation, telecommunications or professional services).
- Proven success designing and implementing enterprise leadership development strategies and programs that build capability from frontline leaders through to executive teams.
- Extensive experience in strategic workforce planning, translating business strategy into workforce capability plans and identifying future talent requirements.
- Experience leading high-performing Talent Acquisition teams, developing proactive attraction strategies and building sustainable talent pipelines.
- Demonstrated expertise in succession planning, talent management, career pathways and high-potential development.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, coach and challenge senior leaders.
- A data-driven approach, using workforce insights and external market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and measure outcomes.
- Experience leading organisational change and embedding contemporary talent practices across large, geographically dispersed workforces.
- Strategic and commercially minded.
