About the Role
ICU Technicians are invaluable care providers who bring comfort, calm, and compassion to patients and families at the bedside. They demonstrate excellence in procedures like blood draws and EKGs, collaborate with nursing staff, and provide quality phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs monitoring, and blood glucose testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws
- Take EKGs
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform blood glucose testing
- Collaborate with nurses and nursing attendants
Requirements
- Minimum of two years current Nursing Attendant experience in a health care setting
- Successful completion of a skills inventory of a Nursing Attendant
- Recent training and/or experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant
