About the Role

The Strategy & Operations Manager will work on the most pressing projects in the business, acting as a ‘swiss army knife’ and reporting to the Head of Strategic Initiatives. You will work closely with leaders in our business such as our VP of Operations and Chief Commercial Officer, complete strategic analysis, collaborate with clinical, operations, product and growth to execute on key initiatives, and be a thought partner to the leaders you work with. This role offers a dynamic career path with opportunities to transition into leading a product line or function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead two or more projects at a time, including driving ‘special projects’ in an existing product line.
  • Scope and deliver cross-functional initiatives, such as improving efficiency in a patient service team or implementing a new retention initiative.
  • Identify and negotiate with new brand partners, like gym partnerships.
  • Lead commercial analysis and design of new offers within a product line, including discounts, bundling, and tiering.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to define new features that resolve problems or deliver more value to patients.
  • Drive stakeholders forward to ensure project success.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning process to determine where the business can deliver the most patient & commercial value.
  • Project manage major projects, ensuring stakeholders understand key requirements and deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
  • Act as a leader’s strategic partner, supporting them in setting up new reporting or operating models for key initiatives.
  • Work with analytics to deliver performance insights and make recommendations for changes.

Requirements

  • 3-4+ years in high-velocity, high-ownership environments, preferably including 2+ years in consulting/banking and 1-2 years in a strategy or operations role at a start-up.
  • Exceptional problem solver with structured thinking, capable of breaking down ambiguous challenges, generating hypotheses, and testing them systematically.
  • Hands-on approach, willing to get involved in detailed work to move projects forward.
  • Strong communication and execution focus, able to present complex ideas clearly and drive projects forward with incomplete information.
  • Product sensibility, understanding how to design desirable products through formal product experience or adjacent roles.
  • High agency and comfort with ambiguity, taking ownership, finding solutions, and thriving when priorities shift.
  • Healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience building propositions or products that drive behavior change is a plus.
  • Previous startup or scale-up experience is a plus.
