About the Role
As a Consultant Regulatory Advisory, you will help financial service providers better manage risks. Our team provides comprehensive support throughout all phases of the business process, combining targeted experience, deep technical knowledge, leading industry expertise, and a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Advise national and EU-based financial institutions on Sustainable Finance, overall bank management, or equity requirements, contributing to sustainable regulatory processes and client future viability.
- Support clients in the constantly changing regulatory environment with an interdisciplinary team.
- Develop concepts for business optimization and successfully implement regulatory-driven implementation projects.
- Assist in determining equity requirements according to Basel III/CRR III and build profound knowledge in the regulatory environment.
- Collaborate with the team in identifying new business areas, acquiring new clients, and preparing proposals.
- Contribute own ideas to improve client advisory services and participate in the development of new products up to market readiness.
Requirements
- Degree in economics or equivalent, with ideally first practical experience in consulting projects or with financial service providers/credit institutions.
- Initial experience in regulatory law and risk management, e.g., in equity requirements or liquidity management.
- Affinity for numbers, confident use of MS Office, and enthusiasm for challenging projects and interdisciplinary teamwork.
- High commitment, personal responsibility, enjoyment of learning new fields and tasks, and agile working methods.
- Willingness to travel and enjoyment of communication and presentation for demanding audiences in German and English (at least good written and spoken).
