About the Role

TO Live is seeking outgoing, customer-service oriented individuals for seasonal, part-time Theatre Attendant positions. These roles involve cross-venue work at three Toronto locations and require flexibility to work varied schedules, including mandatory weekday matinees.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patrons to seats and theatre amenities.
  • Escort patrons requiring assistance.
  • Distribute programs.
  • Scan tickets.
  • Communicate patron concerns to house management promptly.
  • Provide all aspects of customer service.
  • Act as a sales and marketing ambassador to audiences.
  • Remain alert to identify and address issues such as noise, inappropriate behavior, or emergencies.

Requirements

  • A commitment to superior customer service.
  • An outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and enjoyment interacting with people.
  • A calm attitude.
  • An interest in promoting upcoming TO Live shows and events.
  • Ability to be on feet for at least 90 minutes.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Prior theatre experience is considered an asset.
  • Must be available to work weekdays, weekday evenings, and weekends.
  • Must be available for weekday matinee shifts.
  • Successful candidates will be required to join IATSE Local B-173.
