About the Role

As a Beauty Sales Consultant at CVS Health, you will be the primary beauty advisor, providing friendly, knowledgeable sales service to every client. You will share the latest beauty trends and techniques, build personalized customer baskets, and strive to create a top-notch client experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized sales service based on customer needs, effective upselling, and suggestive selling.
• Build lasting customer relationships through follow-up contact.
• Engage customers in conversation, listen to their needs, and provide specialized sales advice.
• Use verbal skills confidently to generate sales.
• Act as a brand expert by answering customer questions with detailed product knowledge.
• Educate customers on product usage and benefits.
• Leverage the CVS beauty monthly sampling program to build relationships.
• Participate in and represent company sales programs or events.
• Discuss CVS Beauty Club programs, invite customers to events, and explain promotions.
• Create and maintain product displays, end caps, and promotional materials.
• Maintain a clean and well-merchandised beauty zone.
• Ensure compliance with tester sanitation, hazardous waste disposal, and tool cleansing policies.
• Complete onboarding and ongoing training programs.
• Execute the sales plan by meeting the sales budget and tracking progress.
• Participate in sales training meetings and conference calls.
• Compete to beat prior sales goals and max out sales budget.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Stay curious about the latest beauty trends and techniques.
• Seek to further product knowledge and client service skills.

Requirements

• Sales oriented.
• Ability to use sales data with product/brand knowledge to meet sales and beauty service goals.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Goal-driven, with an ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and quickly learn new procedures.
• Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours, and 'Peak' Hours.
• Ability to perform ear-piercing services (training and certification provided).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required in specific CVS stores.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
