Responsibilities

Provide trusted, respectful support to Elders helping them live safely and comfortably at home and in community.
Assist with home help tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Assist clients with transportation and personal care, including appointments, shopping, social outings, showering, toileting, and feeding.
Build relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations with ongoing support and training.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to ensure the safety of yourself and customers.

Requirements

A compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer who brings empathy, cultural awareness and a willingness to learn.
Holds a valid Australian driver’s licence.
Has a reliable car.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
Non-Aboriginal carers committed to culturally safe care are also welcome.

Location

Liverpool and surrounding areas including - Holsworthy, Wattle Grove, Chipping Norton, Moorebank, Warwick Farm, Lurnea, Sadlier, Busby, Hinchinbrook, Casula, Prestons, Hoxton Park.
Campbelltown and surrounding areas including - Glenfield, Macquarie Fields, Ingleburn, Minto, Eschol Park, Leumeah, Claymore, Ruse, Airds, Bradbury, Ambarvale, Rosemeadow.

$0.92/km travel allowance
