Responsibilities

Work in various Critical Care/CCU settings within the province.
Share your experience, enhance your skills and expand your clinical knowledge in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Willingness to do ambulance transports.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and eligible for registration in the province of Nova Scotia required.
Completion of an approved Critical Care Course/Critical Care Certificate/CCNP or Emergency Nursing Program (ENP) required.
A minimum of 3 years Critical Care nursing experience required.
BLS certification required.
Current ACLS/RQI ALS certification required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Evidence of ongoing relevant education.
Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to maintain good relationships with patients/residents, families and co-workers.
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
