About the Role

Infinitus is seeking a strategic and highly organized Vendor and Resource Manager to optimize external partnerships and internal talent allocation. This role involves managing external vendors and ensuring efficient internal resource forecasting, allocation, and utilization. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator and analytical thinker capable of balancing capacity demands, controlling costs, and driving project success through effective workforce and supplier planning.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard third-party vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, terms of service, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure vendor performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, managing escalations and resolving disputes.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and data security standards.
  • Support customer launches and ramp-ups by aligning vendor resource plans with training and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to translate forecasts into actionable cross-skilling and support plans.
  • Ensure staffing aligns to forecast short-term and long-term resource needs.
  • Assign internal personnel and external contractors to projects based on availability, skill sets, and strategic priority.
  • Monitor and report on resource utilization rates, identifying bottlenecks and recommending adjustments.
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition to identify skill gaps and advise on the optimal mix of full-time hires versus external contractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, resource management, workforce planning, ideally in a Patient Access Hub or similar environment.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value contracts and optimizing resource allocation across multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Strong ability to negotiate favorable contract terms and navigate difficult conversations.
  • Highly data-driven with the ability to analyze capacity models, utilization reports, and financial data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build consensus across cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
  • Proactive in identifying resource bottlenecks or vendor performance issues and swift in implementing corrective actions.
  • Proficiency with standard PM tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Jira, Workday, SAP, Asana) and Google Office or Microsoft Office tools.
