About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance duties throughout the hospital facilities, according to policies, procedures, legislated codes and regulations to support a functional, reliable, safe and comfortable health care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Traveling across sites for operational needs.
  • Performing on-call duties.

Requirements

  • Completion of an Apprenticeship program.
  • Ability to make decisions on proper use of material and means of effecting repairs.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Accept a team atmosphere.
  • A positive work and attendance record is essential.
  • Ability to work cross-site.
