About the Role
As a Cost Controller at Linesight, you will work with experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams, gaining vast industry experience that will open doors, extend your skillset, and expand your perspective. Responsibilities
- Monitor cost control procedures and collaborate with project partners and the project controls lead, ensuring process requirements are adhered to.
- Assist project and network leads in identifying, documenting, and submitting change requests per the PCR Process.
- Manage the input of cost commitment and expenditure information to Unifier and SAP, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
- Oversee project spend by creating cost reports and conducting analysis to identify trends or concerns, communicating variances to the project team.
- Manage a comprehensive register of financial approvals, variations, and change orders.
- Align with the Procurement and Sourcing team to ensure forecasted costs comply with contractual obligations and are accurately reported.
Requirements
- Degree or comparable experience in construction, business, financial, or related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in project controls.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
- Experience with systems such as Oracle, SAP, and the Microsoft Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage own priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with team and clients.
