About the Role
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the face of the branch, thrives in a busy trade counter environment, and wants to take on responsibilities beyond serving customers. You’ll be the key driver of our Artarmon showroom experience — leading the counter, supporting branch operations, and helping shape how customers interact with John R Turk.
Responsibilities
- Own the counter experience, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting junior team members.
- Deliver an in-store experience that inspires, educates, and builds loyalty.
- Manage sales orders, quotes, customer projects, and ensure accuracy across all counter transactions.
- Work with suppliers to maintain margins, stock availability, and product knowledge.
- Respond to queries, make follow-up calls, and ensure customers feel supported end-to-end.
- Maintain merchandising, stock presentation, and a professional, safe counter environment.
Requirements
- Bring positive energy, reliability, and pride in running a smooth, professional showroom.
- Motivated to become an expert and enjoy helping customers solve problems.
- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and your team.
- Experience in electrical wholesale, trades, or construction is highly regarded.
- Pre-employment medical, drug testing and a national criminal record check may be required.
