About the Role

The Places Team is seeking an experienced, proactive Workplace Operations Consultant for a 6-month contract to support and optimize the physical operations of our regional hub. This role is a key operational driver for maintaining a smooth, welcoming, and highly functional workspace, focusing on executing local vendor services, refining site processes, and supporting physical event setups.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate janitorial and porter services, including vendor accountability and daily site readiness.
  • Track vendor service level agreements (SLAs) and escalate service gaps.
  • Produce and maintain documentation for day-to-day local workplace operations.
  • Assess and streamline site operational workflows, optimizing local ticketing procedures and inventory management.
  • Leverage AI tools and automation solutions to optimize daily administrative workflows.
  • Assess and optimize local space utilization to support hybrid work dynamics.
  • Track and report on facilities ticket-resolution times, occupancy data, and service deliverables.
  • Provide end-to-end operational support for onsite events, team on-sites, executive visits, and cultural moments.
  • Partner with the Global Events & Experiences team to handle event logistics such as seating, catering, and building access.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in facilities coordination, corporate operations, or premium hospitality services, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Strong background in coordinating external vendor services (janitorial, facilities, or catering) and managing deliverables.
  • Proven ability to analyze physical operational setups, identify inefficiencies, and execute practical process improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of working effectively as a collaborative partner in peer-level team environments.
