About the Role

As a Principal Front-end Engineer, you will be a hands-on technical leader defining and driving the future of user interface development. You will lead architectural design and development of next-generation front-end applications, focusing on React Native for mobile and Angular for web. You will mentor a team, champion innovation, and ensure seamless, high-performance user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the long-term technical vision and strategy for front-end applications.
• Lead the architectural design and development of complex, high-performance front-end applications using React Native and Angular.
• Act as a technical mentor and force-multiplier for the front-end engineering team.
• Lead efforts to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across front-end platforms.
• Establish and govern front-end engineering best practices.
• Spearhead research, prototyping, and adoption of new front-end technologies.
• Champion the exploration and integration of AI tools and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, and other engineering leaders.
• Tackle complex technical challenges in the front-end domain.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on front-end development.
• Proven track record of shipping successful, large-scale web and mobile applications.
• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on mastery of JavaScript/TypeScript and the React Native ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of React Native's internal workings and performance characteristics.
• Strong, hands-on experience with modern web development using Angular.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex single-page applications.
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and scaling complex, high-traffic front-end applications.
• Strong knowledge of front-end architecture patterns, data storage solutions, and system design principles.
• Proven experience in optimizing front-end application performance (web and mobile).
• Deep understanding of real-time data streaming technologies (e.g., WebSockets).
• Proven experience in a technical leadership or mentorship capacity.
• Ability to guide technical discussions, influence peers, and make pragmatic, long-term decisions.
• In-depth experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx), RESTful APIs, and front-end build tools and CI/CD practices.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
• Strong sense of ownership, a pragmatic, results-oriented mindset, and accountability.
• Genuine passion for continuous learning and driving innovation.
