Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds
- Interpret radiological images and provide accurate reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to determine patient care plans
- Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions related to imaging
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology and medical technologies
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities
- Contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions
Requirements
- MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) degree
- Valid medical license to practice radiology in the state of New York
- Experience in diagnostic radiology preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethics in medical practice
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is a plus
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
