About the Role

The role is a key part of the Network Technology Team, responsible for the implementation of the new trading platform and customer access network. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end network and security driven solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to identify network needs and adapt solutions to meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end network and security driven solutions.
  • Collaborate with the organization’s management to identify the network needs of the company.
  • Collaborate with other networks designers/ SMEs to provide integrated network solutions.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers.
  • Adapt the solution to meet Business Unit requirements.
  • Determine the most suitable hardware and software to be utilized.
  • Contribute to ASX documentation and knowledge base as required.
  • Be accountable for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand.

Requirements

  • At least minimum of 4+ years of experience in networking with experience as a Network Engineer specialized in delivery in enterprise networks, DC networks, security appliances (F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls, etc.), and cloud networks.
  • Developed a deep understanding of core network technologies (BGP (eBGP and iBGP), OSPF, MPBGP, Multicast, MLAG, VLANs, etc.) and security technologies (Firewalling, Load Balancing).
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing and managing BGP, OSPF routing protocols and Multicast technologies.
  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale networks and mission critical networks.
  • Extensive knowledge of the main network and security vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5.
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiating skills in managing a wide variety of stakeholders including vendors, partners and suppliers.
  • Tertiary degree in computer science/engineering/telecommunications.
  • Vendor certifications CCIE, CCNP, CCAr, Arista, F5, Palo Alto etc.
  • Network monitoring Software (SolarWinds).
