About the Role

Join our Shared Services Centre in Parramatta as a customer-focused and enthusiastic Payroll Analyst. This permanent, full-time position offers a strong team culture that values personal and professional growth, with your contributions to our success being recognized.

Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing, including superannuation, tax, and leave payments.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.
  • Support staff and management with payroll-related inquiries.
  • Interpret awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.
  • Calculate and process annual leave, long service leave provisions/accruals, and termination payments.
  • Process pay increases/changes and back pay calculations.
  • Maintain electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.
  • Generate payroll reports to fulfill internal and statutory obligations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of payroll experience.
  • A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting is a plus.
  • Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel.
  • SAP experience is highly regarded.
  • Solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax, and related compliance obligations.
  • Team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
