About the Role

Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing, including superannuation, tax, and leave payments.
- Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records.
- Support staff and management with payroll-related inquiries.
- Interpret awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.
- Calculate and process annual leave, long service leave provisions/accruals, and termination payments.
- Process pay increases/changes and back pay calculations.
- Maintain electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.
- Generate payroll reports to fulfill internal and statutory obligations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of payroll experience.
- A degree or diploma in HR or Accounting is a plus.
- Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel.
- SAP experience is highly regarded.
- Solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax, and related compliance obligations.
- Team player attitude with a proven track record of collaboration.
- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
