About the Role

Deloitte’s Valuations team is Australia’s leading and fastest growing corporate valuations team, seeking to expand further by hiring at the Consultant / Senior Consultant level in Sydney. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop skills in corporate finance, value advisory, and project management, with exposure to a range of clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth business, economic, industry, capital markets, and competitor research, data analysis, and benchmarking.
• Develop bespoke financial models for valuation, including scenario, sensitivity, and statistical analysis.
• Develop, review, and interpret analysis, presenting clear and insightful conclusions in written and verbal form.
• Work in diverse teams within an inclusive culture, recognizing individual contributions.
• Develop and maintain key client relationships, focusing on exceptional client service.
• Support the delivery of high-profile projects.

Requirements

• Interest in financial markets, businesses, and how corporate value is derived.
• Blend of financial qualifications and foundational knowledge of corporate financial reporting and/or financial analysis.
• Ability to think unconventionally, problem-solve, and develop solutions to commercial problems.
• Curious disposition and analytical nature with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to proactively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
