About the Role
This role supports the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Management by acting as a visual deterrent to prevent loss and dishonesty. The position focuses on maintaining a positive customer experience, ensuring safety, and protecting the company brand through professional conduct and adherence to company policies.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional stance at the front of the store
- Act as a visual deterrent to prevent potential loss or dishonesty
- Review and understand the Store Emergency Response Guide
- Wear a complete company-approved uniform including a body-worn camera
- Greet customers with courtesy and respect
- Establish and maintain a position at the front of the store or in a designated department
- Respond to customer requests for assistance by referring them to management or customer service via radio
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or critical incidents to Loss Prevention or store management
- Perform a closing safety sweep of the store with management
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Document required incidents in AIIM Case Management
- Perform other duties as assigned
