About the Role
Pax Andromeda is a well-funded startup building a new open-source application engine on top of web technologies. We are seeking an experienced engineer with a deep background in both web tech and native application stacks to develop frameworks and tooling that bind native system primitives to high-level constructs.
Responsibilities
- Build and own significant portions of the product.
- Develop frameworks and tooling that bind native system primitives to high-level constructs.
- Push as much implementation as possible up into the JavaScript layer while maintaining native performance.
- Work daily across both native and JavaScript sides of the stack.
Requirements
- Experience in both C++ and JavaScript is required.
- Comfort working across both native and JavaScript sides of the stack is essential.
- Deep experience in two or more focus areas from the provided list.
- Ability to find creative solutions to complex performance problems.
- Care about company culture, engineering culture, and best practices.
