About the Role

The British Council is seeking an Erasmus+ Marketing Manager Operations and Events to lead event development, operational planning, and marketing coordination for Erasmus+. This role ensures efficient and consistent delivery of activities, overseeing event management, supplier coordination, and budget tracking to support effective programme delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, promotion, and delivery of events, webinars, and stakeholder engagement activities to maximise participation and impact.
  • Collaborate with business leads and sector teams to align events and marketing activity with programme objectives, priorities, and timelines.
  • Develop engaging content and promotional assets to support event marketing, delivery, and post-event follow-up activities.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers, partners, and speakers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality events.
  • Champion the attendee experience by gathering feedback, evaluating outcomes, and implementing improvements.
  • Monitor, track, and report on event participation, engagement, outreach metrics, and overall performance.
  • Maintain and manage event pipelines, trackers, dashboards, budgets, workflows, and reporting systems to ensure effective coordination and delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs from marketing, digital, stakeholder engagement, and business teams to deliver integrated campaigns and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, data governance requirements, marketing policies, and budget management processes.
  • Analyse performance data, evaluate marketing effectiveness, benchmark results, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

  • Experience developing and delivering events (online and face to face).
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and suppliers to coordinate delivery.
  • Experience in the design and delivery of marketing strategies and plans to support programmes/products.
  • Experience in the cultural, youth, sport, training, education or charitable sectors (desirable).
  • Experience in a global or international organisation (desirable).
  • Experience in marketing operations, campaign planning or performance tracking (desirable).
  • Experience in content commissioning (desirable).
  • Experience of Cvent events platform (desirable).
  • Current right to work in the UK.
  • The British Council is not able to support or sponsor work visa applications.
