About the Role
LAB3 is seeking an intermediate Project Manager to join their Professional Services Team in Sydney. This role involves managing technical project teams, vendors, and partners to deliver projects effectively while managing risks, issues, and quality. The position requires building and maintaining client relationships, facilitating workshops, and managing project documentation and finances.
Responsibilities
- Manage, lead, and influence technical project teams, vendors, and partners to deliver effective project outcomes.
- Manage risk, issues, and quality of deliverables.
- Raise variations internally or with the client when required to ensure profitability, timeliness, and effectiveness.
- Identify, establish, build, and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Work with and influence stakeholders to achieve satisfactory client and project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities, work collaboratively, and manage projects to deliver client strategic outcomes.
- Initiate, facilitate, and lead client workshops for defining non-functional and functional requirements.
- Prepare, maintain, and track project schedules, reports, resource forecasts, RAID logs, minutes, project documentation, and project finances.
- Support the development, estimation, and review of SOWs and solutions.
- Establish and follow the project rhythm of regular meetings, stand-ups, status reports, minutes, governance meetings, and steering committees.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely updates on progress and escalations.
- Identify, interpret, and communicate insights, conclusions, cost estimations, presentations, and reports to clients.
- Support the internal uplift of LAB3 Project Delivery capability.
- Drive enhancement of team frameworks, practice structure, governance, reporting, processes, and procedures.
- Deliver projects within the LAB3 delivery framework using Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps methodologies.
Requirements
- Experience managing and/or coordinating technology projects for clients.
- Understanding of the challenges of delivering to a client and flexibility with changing priorities.
- An understanding of the Microsoft technology stack including Azure, modernisation, and AI.
- Clear communication and exceptional organisational skills are essential.
- Based in Sydney.
- Open to be onsite with the client when required.
- Australian Citizen.
- NV1 security clearance.
