About the Role
This opportunity is for a Vice President/Broker II within Aon Commercial Risk Solutions’ Financial Services Group (FSG), responsible for assessing client needs, crafting solutions, and negotiating with insurance carriers to acquire coverage that is in a client’s best interests.
Responsibilities
- Assess client needs, craft solutions, and negotiate with insurance carriers for coverage.
- Analyze and present sophisticated insurance contract concepts.
- Communicate renewal strategies and results to clients, including product/structure overviews, market dynamics, litigation trends, and contract features.
- Utilize technical skills for client analysis, underwriting, and program diagnostics to improve client programs.
- Maintain effective working relationships with external client contacts and prospects.
- Build internal working relationships with Aon product specialists, brokers, producers, and account executives.
- Develop and deliver client and prospect presentations.
- Utilize underwriter relationships to improve broking results through market understanding and carrier leveraging.
- Engage the Aon FSG claims and legal advocacy group for claim administration and counsel.
- Apply negotiation skills to secure optimal broking results for clients.
Requirements
- 5+ years in brokering, underwriting, and/or other relevant executive liability proven experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Property & Casualty license required within 6 months of hire date.
