About the Role

Aon is seeking a Broker II to join the product recall and contamination team within the Crisis Management Department. This role involves providing optimal client support, analyzing exposures, and managing the placement process in a dynamic insurance marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Provide optimal and timely support to clients, relationship managers and originators
  • Identify and analyze client exposures
  • Facilitate the compilation of submission information and submit them to the market
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of products and services, developing productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters
  • Provide status updates and continuous support and service to clients during entire placement process and entire period of engagement by client
  • Drive utilization of all available technology throughout placement process and client service process, including managing files for each client or prospect
  • Understand the causes of E&O and avoid and adopt practices to reduce exposure
  • Adhere to all best practices
  • Retain and grow assigned clients/prospects
  • Recognize and develop opportunities
  • Adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior in all activities

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of broking experience and success stories of placing coverage on behalf of clients
  • Good analytical skills, with a focus on client operations, financial, and industry expertise
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and client-facing skills
  • Excellent communication, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to deal with people are a must

Salary/Compensations

  • $135,000 – 185,000 annually
  • Eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus
