About the Role

This role supports the governance operations of one of Australia's leading ASX-listed organisations, offering an opportunity for an early-career professional to develop expertise in corporate governance. You will gain hands-on exposure to Board and AGM activities, ASIC and ASX compliance, shareholder engagement, subsidiary governance, and company secretarial operations.

Responsibilities

• Supporting ASIC and ASX compliance activities and statutory lodgements
• Maintaining subsidiary, joint venture and governance records
• Assisting with board operations, governance processes and AGM activities
• Supporting shareholder services, share registry matters and equity plans
• Managing company secretarial systems, registers and documentation
• Partnering with stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Treasury and Investor Relations to deliver effective governance outcomes

Requirements

• Experience in administration, governance, legal, compliance or company secretarial support roles
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Qualifications in Law, Commerce, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
