About the Role
The Client Service Manager – Private Equity Fund will maintain client relationships for a portfolio of managed fund clients, overseeing fund accounting, investor services, regulatory reporting, and audit preparation. This role also involves managing new client onboarding and due diligence.
Responsibilities
- Review Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for accuracy and compliance.
- Review Trial Balance, GL, Cash & portfolio reconciliation, and Income & expense accruals.
- Review Limited Partner and General Partners/Shareholder Allocation, calculations/schedules, including fees and waterfall calculations.
- Review property level income statement, rent roll, tenancy schedules, and ageing reports.
- Review quarterly BAS calculations.
- Prepare and review Unitholder and Partner Capital Account Statements.
- Prepare and review Financial statements.
- Liaise with Auditor for timely completion of Audit.
- Review all capital activity pertaining to the funds (Capital calls and Distribution).
- Review investor onboarding documents for AML/KYC compliance.
- Review redemptions and process redemption payments.
- Resolve issues and communicate with investors, ensuring information is complete and up-to-date.
- Review periodic capital/NAV statements.
- Oversee calculation and preparation of investor tax statements.
- Prepare regulatory reporting (FATCA/CRS and AIIR reports).
- Manage client relationships, inquiries, and meetings.
- Interact with Senior management and clients.
- Review procedures and recommend solutions for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure adherence to all internal and external audit standards.
- Implement fund structures onto the accounting system.
- Review constitutional documents and prepare client SLAs and budgeting.
Requirements
- 5+ years of private equity or real estate fund accounting work experience.
- Experience in reviewing and preparing financial statements.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both Verbal and written).
- Motivated, bright, and diligent individual driven to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects.
- A team player able to manage individual responsibilities.
- Advanced level MS Excel, proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
- A detailed understanding of Real Estate and REIT fund structures and the fund administration industry.
- Client and deadline focus.
- Knowledge and prior experience on YARDI, Investran, Efront or Paxus is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of eFront and Investran systems is a big advantage.
