About the Role
7-Eleven is seeking an Assistant Store Leader Trainee to join their management team. This role offers valuable management and leadership experience with competitive pay and full-time hours, focusing on employee success and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
- Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
- Handle cash and fuel transactions.
- Promote the loyalty program.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the store is presentable and products are in-stock.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Ability to maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
- Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft products preferred: Word, Excel).
- A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
- A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence.
- Automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
- Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
