About the Role
AllState Sprinkler is hiring Apprentices for the Fire Alarm division. This is an opportunity to learn a growing and in-demand trade, with training provided to become a licensed, certified Fire Alarm Technician. We seek hard-working, hands-on individuals eager to learn a new trade in the high-demand fire protection industry, offering a long-term career path.
Responsibilities
- Learn and study different alarm systems to pass tests and become certified.
- Communicate effectively with customers, explaining work performed and necessary repairs.
- Write detailed reports on service work.
- Maintain organization and track service tickets.
- Process all required documents for each service performed.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points.
- Three years of licensed driving experience.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools.
- Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
- Comfortable working on ladders (6-12ft) and lifts.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Ability to work overhead and in unusual or small spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
