About the Role
AllState is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to service, inspect, and repair Fire Alarm systems for established commercial customers. This role requires availability for on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Testing and inspecting fire alarm systems in commercial buildings.
- Responding to service requests, diagnosing system malfunctions, and adjusting, repairing, or replacing equipment.
- Performing fire alarm system testing and inspection per NFPA and local code standards.
- Preparing accurate and timely inspection and service reports.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with 3 or fewer points.
- Minimum of 3 years licensed driving experience.
- Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience.
- Ability to be available on-call when scheduled.
- Comfortable working on ladders (6-12ft) and on lifts.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs, work overhead, and in unusual or small spaces.
- Strong communication skills to explain work and necessary repairs to customers.
- Strong writing skills for detailed service reports.
- Well-organized with the ability to track service tickets and process required documents.
