About the Role

Provide high-quality service on autonomous vehicles, while working with teammates in a positive atmosphere and growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Document requested repairs and findings in a specialized service platform
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts
• Perform all body and fender repairs
• Parts replacement of bumpers and doors
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and oxidizing operations
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Operate all equipment in the Service Center in a safe and productive manner, following AutoNation’s Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working on the production floor
• Maintain work area in an orderly and clean manner
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes
• Collaborate with and work alongside AutoNation associates, and partner with teammates to improve processes and expedite workflow
• Keep abreast of technical information and participate in offered training classes as appropriate
• Gain superior product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have tools
• Must have a valid, in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record
• Ability to operate an automobile

Skills

• Auto Body / Collision experience
• Automotive technical training
• Electric Vehicle experience
• I-CAR / ASE Certifications

• $26.00 - $43.00 per hour worked based on skills, experience, and certifications
