About the Role
Outset is seeking a Sourcer to support its recruiting team on a full-time, temporary 3-month basis. This role focuses on building and managing top-of-funnel candidate pipelines for active roles, collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute sourcing strategies for open roles across the organization, using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and Boolean search
- Proactively identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates through outbound outreach
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and refine sourcing criteria
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and pipeline status in Ashby
- Track and report on sourcing metrics (response rates, pipeline conversion, time-to-fill contributions)
- Help maintain a strong candidate experience from first outreach through handoff
Requirements
- 2+ years of sourcing experience, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
- Strong written communication skills - you can write outreach that gets responses
- Comfort with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, Ashby experience a plus)
- Highly organized, able to manage multiple open roles and pipelines simultaneously
- Self-starter who can work with ambiguity and tight timelines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, temporary engagement with clear deliverables
