About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Director of Finance for a newly formed, high-impact team within Wealth Management's Strategy, Products & Digital Investing (SP&DI) sub-segment. This role supports critical financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making for a fast-growing business area, involving direct collaboration with senior executives and shaping the strategy for AI and digital investments.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely management reports for the SP&DI sub-segment.
  • Drive the annual planning and monthly forecast processes for SP&DI, including financial analysis and impact assessment.
  • Manage the SP&DI cost allocations process, including monthly actuals, annual plan processing, and communication of allocation drivers.
  • Support decision-making by developing financials for business cases and tracking benefits for projects.
  • Assist with initiatives across Wealth Management, including cost management, business reviews, project tracking, and benchmarking.
  • Support the financial control team in executing control activities.
  • Execute objectives for legacy business financials and Wealth Management M&O.
  • Oversee and evaluate team activities, providing guidance for professional development.
  • Drive the adoption of AI and digital tools for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance advisory roles.
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent).
  • Financial services and/or banking experience, with a preference for wealth management.
  • Strong finance acumen and ability to communicate complex financial narratives to executive audiences.
  • Solid understanding of balance sheet mechanics and accounting fundamentals.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet monthly commitments.
  • Inspirational people leadership skills and ability to lead an agile team.
  • Proactive and consultative nature, acting as a business co-pilot.
