About the Role
TNStumpff Enterprises, LLC is seeking applicants to deliver mail part-time on a contract delivery service route for the United States Postal Service in the Preble, NY area. This role involves sorting, loading, and delivering mail and parcels.
Responsibilities
- Sorting mail in delivery sequence for 318 active boxes
- Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into delivery vehicle
- Delivering mail along an assigned 27.7-line-of-travel
- Dismounting if required to deliver parcels, Express mail, and other accountable mail items
- Performing other administrative duties as required
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid New York driver's license
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must reside in the Preble, NY area
- Must furnish a vehicle that meets postal regulations
- Must meet postal driving requirements
- Must provide a dependable vehicle (Mini-Van or Equivalent) with 120 cubic feet of usable load space
- Must have $100,000/$500,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance for the contract vehicle
- Applicant is responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel, and insurance costs
