About the Role

This entry-level office role is responsible for maintaining the pleasant and consistent daily operations of the clinic, supporting clinic growth through excellence in execution of the practice management role and patient intake processes, and supporting the mission, vision, and values of Upstream Rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Greets everyone who enters the clinic in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Schedules new referrals received by fax or by telephone from patients, physician offices.
  • Verifies insurance coverage for patients.
  • Collects patient payments.
  • Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
  • Collect all money due at the time of service.
  • Convert referrals into evaluations.
  • Schedule patient visits.
  • Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
  • Make all welcome calls.
  • Monitor and influence arrival rate through creation of a great customer experience.
  • Manage schedule efficiently.
  • Manage document routing.
  • Manage personal overtime.
  • Manage non-clinical documentation.
  • Manage deposits.
  • Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
  • Monitor clinic inventory.
  • Attend any required training with the Territory Field Trainers (TFT) for Raintree and other business process updates.
  • Complete quarterly compliance training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
  • Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
  • Must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to hear and speak to accurately exchange information.
  • Must have ability to comprehend information provided, use judgement to appropriately respond in various situations.
  • May be required to attend special events some evenings and weekends, or work additional hours as needed.
