About the Role

As a Senior Associate, Structured Trade Finance, you will support clients across the operational management of Structured Trade, Working Capital, Supply Chain Finance and Receivables Finance products. You will help ensure client requirements are met while supporting the broader Trade Finance businesses.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service and operational support to clients across Structured Trade Finance, Working Capital and Supply Chain Finance products.
• Process and manage structured inventory transactions in line with credit approvals, policies, procedures and operating guidelines.
• Support Trade Finance sales channels and product specialists with facility implementation, transaction execution and client enquiries.
• Complete pre-operational checks and ensure transactions are managed with strong attention to control, compliance and risk requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of operating procedures for new and existing client facilities, including audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Structured Trade Finance products, including inventory finance and supply chain finance, with an understanding of related risks, controls and mitigating actions.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
• Willingness to learn, adapt and take on new challenges in a complex operational environment.
• Knowledge of financing hard and soft commodity products through structured trade finance.
• Broad understanding of traditional trade finance products and processes.
• Familiarity with Working Capital and Structured Trade Finance products, including Inventory Finance and Supply Chain Finance.
• Broad awareness of AML, KYC and operational risk themes.
