About the Role

Contribute to the development of Aurora's software products, used by leading companies in the energy sector. Implement products on our platform, collaborate with internal teams to enhance the product and drive adoption, analyze large datasets, and support service deployment across the Americas. Develop skills to transition into an Associate Product Manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to deliver insights from energy modeling and complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, modelers, and research analysts in continuous product delivery.
  • Gather client feedback, answer client questions, and help them maximize value from software and services.
  • Test products to ensure high quality and robust software delivery.
  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned products, including energy modeling, renewables, and batteries.
  • Work with the Product Manager to maintain and update a prioritized product backlog using structured methodologies.
  • Assist the Product Manager in creating a product roadmap.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on key product metrics like adoption, engagement, and retention.
  • Project manage new feature delivery and write product requirements.
  • Share best practices and expand the Product Management culture by collaborating with other Product Analysts and Managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university with strong academic performance in a quantitative subject.
  • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R).
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex quantitative data and information.
  • Strong interest in energy and power markets.
  • Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments.
  • Strong communication skills, adaptable for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
