About the Role
This position directly supports the Assistant General Manager and General Manager with comprehensive facility responsibilities, focusing on operational excellence, client satisfaction, and effective vendor management. You'll play a key role in budget management, maintenance coordination, and ensuring seamless facility operations while maintaining high standards of customer service across client locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with budgetary requests, analysis, reporting, and supporting facility-specific cost savings targets
- Receive and dispatch work requests to technical staff, vendors, and service providers
- Resolve building service issues including janitorial, parking, vending, elevators and conference rooms
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities while overseeing delivery of repair services
- Interface with property occupants and provide support for guests, visitors, and employees
- Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on operating budgets for each property
- Source local services and goods through third-party suppliers, including contract writing and vendor setup
- Manage existing contracts and coordinate with vendors on performance criteria and reviews
- Collaborate with sourcing teams on national and regional supplier opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in facilities management or property management
- 2+ years of facilities or property management experience in corporate environment, third party service provider, or as a consultant
- Proven record of client service with ability to establish credibility with clients, facilities teams, vendors, and contractors
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and management skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook)
- After hours, on-call availability for emergencies
- Knowledge of commercial real estate, building operations and systems, accounting, project management, and vendor management
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
