About the Role

The Little Beet is seeking team members who are energetic, positive, and enjoy fast-paced environments. This role offers opportunities to learn, contribute, and build a career while maintaining work-life balance and growing within a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests.
• Receive and accurately enter food orders, including all requested ingredients.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when necessary.
• Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures, including daily checklists and side work.
• Organize money and receipts according to the company's cash handling policy.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and organization by following cleaning checklists.
• Prep and execute all menu items.
• Assist with basic food preparation according to checklists and prep sheets.
• Set up the seating area, including napkin and silverware stations.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space is preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
