About the Role
The Associate plays a key role in supporting institutional investor relationships across the EMEA region by partnering with the Global Institutional Client Group (GICG) team to deliver a high standard of client service to existing and prospective clients. The role offers broad exposure across distribution, investments, product, and operational functions, providing an excellent opportunity to develop a well-rounded understanding of the asset management industry. We are seeking a proactive, collaborative, and client-focused individual to join and strengthen the team.
Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers in delivering an exceptional client experience across institutional client relationships.
- Serve as a key point of contact for client servicing matters, ensuring timely resolution of queries and effective coordination across internal teams.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients' business objectives, investment goals, and market challenges.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across the organisation, advocating for client needs and ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Coordinate account onboarding, cash flows, fee reviews, and client data maintenance activities with relevant business partners.
- Manage day-to-day client servicing requests and support internal stakeholders in responding to client requirements.
- Partner with Relationship Managers and the broader distribution team to understand client needs and identify opportunities to enhance processes, products, or services.
- Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving the client experience and delivering strategic business objectives.
- Coordinate client meetings, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), requests for information (RFIs), and other client-related deliverables.
- Assist with the preparation of client and prospective client meeting materials, including presentations, briefing notes, and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of institutional client servicing experience.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within the investment management or broader investment industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Writer is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive problem-solver with a solutions-oriented mindset and focus on client outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates accountability, sound judgement, and ownership of responsibilities.
