About the Role
The Facilities Management Coordinator will play a significant part in ensuring that Aspen Dental continues to provide access to care in facilities that demonstrate best-in-class safety, cleanliness, and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day facility management of dental equipment and maintenance issues at multiple locations over a large geographic territory in a team-oriented atmosphere from our main office.
- Troubleshoot equipment over the phone with office staff and deliver specific instructions.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure required actions are completed.
- Manage expectations and performance within service level parameters, verifying completion of work and services.
- Effectively communicate with internal customers and contract vendors.
- Perform data analysis and storage of work order history and budget tracking using online programming.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard subcontractors.
- Manage shipping and tracking for the Facilities Department.
- Manage billing for Facilities tickets, including contacting vendors for information and coordinating with ADMI billing for correct GL and location codes.
- Manage small projects from start to finish and provide detailed guidance to field technicians.
- Be available Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency calls after hours with overtime pay.
Requirements

- Skill and experience in both verbal and written communications.
- Prior exposure to multi-unit facilities management concepts and best practices is helpful.
- Ability to demonstrate successful completion of multiple tasks concurrently.
- Experience and ability to negotiate with vendors.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to be a 'real-time' problem solver.
- Occasional travel may be involved.
