About the Role
As a Content Designer III on the Experience Design team, you will join a worldwide team of Product Designers, Content Designers, and Researchers delivering cohesive end-to-end experiences. Reporting to the Senior Content Design Manager for Supply and Membership, you will define content direction for Loyalty and connected Membership spaces with accountability for product outcomes, not just deliverables.
Responsibilities

- Guide roadmap decisions with user-centric insights that connect customer needs to business goals.
- Evolve a cohesive content strategy across product areas, accounting for accessibility and global readiness.
- Design intuitive, accessible content for onboarding, transactional flows, notifications, and more.
- Apply IA methods and content systems to deliver scalable solutions within our design system.
- Synthesize qualitative, quantitative, and business data into actionable content insights.
- Design and run content tests with Research and Product partners; use findings to improve metrics.
- Influence, persuade, and negotiate with stakeholders in Marketing, Brand, and Legal to achieve messaging cohesion across channels and touchpoints.
- Partner with Engineering, Localization, and Accessibility teams to deliver inclusive, readable, translatable content.
- Foster continuous improvement within XD and partner teams.
Requirements
- Bring expert mastery in content strategy, UX writing, and information architecture, and turn research and data into targeted content solutions.
- Have deep experience improving Loyalty journeys across complex, multi-surface product experiences.
- Build messaging frameworks, routing matrices, and pattern guidance that scale consistency, trust, and clarity.
- Balance traveler and business needs, partnering with Product Managers and stakeholders to align content with roadmap and strategy.
- Design experiences that are helpful, human, and inclusive — and raise content quality within your squad and across XD.
- Communicate with confidence: facilitate productive discourse, cultivate feedback, and drive alignment across disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience in core skills such as UX Writing, content audits and analysis, content mapping and modeling, information architecture, content planning and sourcing, conversational design, and storytelling (this is not a content marketing role).
- 5+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX writer, or Content Strategist.
- Strong skills in presenting compelling rationale and narratives behind content strategies and decisions to peers, partners, and key stakeholders - such as Legal, Marketing, Security, Product, and top leadership.
- Expertise in persuasion and negotiation with stakeholders to create optimal experiences that balance both traveler needs and business objectives.
- Experience applying human-centered design (HCD) practices to product experiences.
- Experience taking a thoughtful, empathetic, and inclusive approach to design that meets every user where they are.
- Experience in solving complicated content problems for multiple user segments and can develop content solutions across brands.
