About the Role
The Reikart House, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, is seeking a Banquet Bartender to join their award-winning team at their boutique hotel in Amherst, NY.
Responsibilities
- Read BEO and complete set-up.
- Set tables correctly and uniformly in assigned areas.
- Maintain a neat and clean station while servicing guests.
- Prepare and serve drinks according to established guidelines and safety controls.
- Utilize proper procedures for clearing tables and breaking down buffet equipment.
- Assist Banquet Captain with buffet and special food service setup and breakdown.
- Greet and serve guests following established food and beverage service guidelines.
- Adhere to all guest check and money-handling procedures.
- Complete assigned side work.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a banquet server/bartender is required.
- Ability to lift and carry cases of liquor, soda, ice, and glasses.
- Must have experience carrying a tray.
- Ability to bend and kneel to stock supplies and glassware.
- Ability to reach and pour bottles, and reach for glasses.
- Ability to stand continuously behind the bar to serve guests.
