Responsibilities

• Provides alcohol & drug testing.
• Assists clinical & clerical staff to facilitate patient flow and health information for medical records.
• Supports nursing and medical staff in patient admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Responsible for training clinic staff in specimen collection for drug tests.
• Troubleshoots technical equipment problems.
• Lives the CARES values at all times.

Requirements

• Demonstrates skill in AED, Breath Alcohol technician, audiogram & spirometry calibration & test administration, ECG, DOT & non-DOT urine drug collection.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical terminology.
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments.
• Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with patients, providers, associates & corporate customers.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• Must possess excellent patient/public relations and communication skills.
• Proficient in data entry.
