About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join the team working 2 days per week, Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week) on a rotating roster. This is a fixed term contract until April 2027 and provides access to our casual pool. You will be joining a truly dedicated team along with all of the KU learning resources at your disposal.
Responsibilities
- Proven teamwork experience
- An ability to mentor and lead other educators
- To be available to work 8 hours every Thursday and Friday (16 hours per week) on a rotating roster.
Requirements
- Relevant working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010)
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Australian working rights
- A current and valid NSW Working with Children Check
- NESA Teacher Accreditation
- A National Child Safety Training Certificate (through Geccko)
- A completed training in Child Protection (CHCPRT025) and an understanding of the legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- A valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012) with separate Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (22556VIC & 22578VIC) & CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
