About the Role
Acusensus is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Manager to lead its national field service operation across Australia. This new leadership role involves overseeing a team of Service Leads, ensuring asset reliability, and implementing processes to drive service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team of Service Leads.
- Drive asset reliability and service performance across Australia.
- Implement and improve SOP's, processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Coordinate installations of new fixed enforcement sites.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Delivery, and Helpdesk teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage maintenance budgets, contractors, resources, and spare parts.
- Champion safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build capability within the team through mentoring, coaching, and development.
Requirements
- Experience leading multi-site or geographically dispersed technical teams.
- Strong hands-on background in maintenance, field service, technical operations, automotive, transport, fleet, or mechanical environments.
- Experience implementing operational processes, SOPs, and performance measures.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing competing priorities in a reactive service environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change and standardisation.
- Trade qualification, Engineering qualification, or equivalent industry experience.
