About the Role
IPAR is seeking passionate Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling professionals to join their team in Liverpool, NSW. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the support of an experienced, multidisciplinary team, focusing on delivering occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions to achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
- Apply clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes.
- Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct initial assessments, vocational assessments, and other clinical assessments.
- Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- General or Provisional registration with AHPRA; or Eligibility for Associate or Full membership with ASORC.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A genuine passion for helping others achieve positive outcomes.
- Empathy, resilience, and a client-centred approach.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in occupational rehabilitation (desirable, not essential).
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
