About the Role
As Senior Fund Analyst, Mirvac Wholesale Office Fund (MWOF), you will play a key role in driving the financial performance and strategic success of one of Australia’s leading wholesale property funds. You will deliver insightful analysis, robust financial modelling and high-quality reporting to support investment decisions, capital allocation and investor outcomes. You'll take ownership of fund analytics, performance reporting and forecasting, while supporting acquisitions, divestments, leasing and capital expenditure initiatives. You will also help drive continuous improvement across reporting, modelling and governance processes to optimise risk-adjusted returns and enhance fund performance.
Responsibilities
- Leading analysis of fund and portfolio performance, including budgeting, forecasting, leasing, capex, operating costs and key investment metrics.
- Owning monthly and quarterly fund reporting, including performance analysis, management commentary, investor reporting and responding to investor information requests.
- Maintaining and enhancing fund models and analytical tools, ensuring strong governance, documentation and data integrity.
- Delivering scenario and sensitivity analysis to support investment decisions, asset strategies and business planning.
- Supporting Board and Investor Representative Committee (IRC) reporting and presentation materials.
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to ensure asset plans, forecasts and investment assumptions accurately reflect business objectives.
- Providing financial and commercial support for acquisitions, divestments, leasing transactions and capital investment decisions.
- Assisting with investor presentations, marketing materials and equity raising initiatives.
- Driving process improvement and automation opportunities across reporting, modelling and data management.
- Building strong relationships with investors and key stakeholders as a trusted advisor on fund performance and financial insights.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Property, Economics or a related discipline.
- Approximately 5+ years' experience within funds management, real estate, corporate finance or a large-scale property organisation.
- Proven experience delivering budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and investor reporting.
- Advanced financial modelling skills and strong commercial acumen.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and investors.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and optimising processes.
